Take 101 to the Ferndale & Fernbridge exit.
Follow the frontage road to the historic bridge over the Eel River. The road crossing the bridge is Highway 211.
Follow it five miles.
This turns into Ferndale's Main Street.
The Shaw House Inn is on the right behind the white picket fence, set back from the road at 703 Main Street.
